On 09.08.2026 'Road Safety Week 2026' was observed at Kakdwip by Sundarban Police District.

As a part of the that programme Patha Natika, Quiz Competition, Helmet Distribution, Inauguration of New Traffic Bikes, Felicitation of Raahveers and Road Safety Awareness Rally were organised to sensitize people about Road Safety.
